The 3rd Fire in the Earth System Congress (fEs2024) will be held from June 3rd to 5th, 2024, in Cáceres, with a field trip to Sierra de Gata on June 6th. Following successful conferences in Valencia and Granada, fEs2024 is organized in collaboration with the University of Extremadura. Future editions in South Africa, the USA, Turkey, and Australia are being planned.

The 44th annual “International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium - IGARSS 2024” will take place Athens (Greece) on the 7th until 12th of July 2024 at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center. GARSS 2024 is under the theme “Acting for Sustainability and Resilience” and will be hosted by the National Observatory of Athens - Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre of Earth Observation Research and Satellite Remote Sensing” of Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing, with the support of the National Technical University of Athens and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas.
